About Bevrijdingspop Haarlem 2025

Last Monday marked the 45th edition of Bevrijdingspop Haarlem 2025, one of the Netherlands’ largest and oldest Liberation Day festivals. This year’s celebration was extra special, commemorating 80 years of freedom. With more than 143.000 visitors, the festival featured four areas filled with food, drinks, and performances by Rowen Hèze, Son Mieux, this year’s Ambassadors of Freedom, Rondé, and many other (local) talents. Thanks to the dedication of 444 volunteers and the support of sponsors and suppliers, Bevrijdingspop Haarlem came together once again.

Role of Backbone

We’re proud that Backbone was involved at the festival for the 17th year, supporting the client with the technical design, technical production, production management, overlay management, back office, and securing permits.
