During ADE 2025, Backbone was proud to be part of several of the 1,000+ events taking place across the city. We were involved in the two Mojo Concerts productions for ADE: Black Coffee and Klangkuenstler.
On Friday, the 24th of October, the Ziggo Dome set the stage for Black Coffee, the South African DJ and producer. He delivered a six-hour set, blending deep house, Afrobeat, and soulful electronic sounds. During the night, multiple guest artists joined him. The highlight of this stage design was a large, droplet-shaped LED screen in the middle of the stage, flanked by numerous lights that cast vibrant effects and projections across the arena.
Our team had less than a day to transform the venue into a futuristic world for Klangkuenstler’s ‘OUTWORLD’ show on Saturday evening/night. One of the main eye-catchers of this production was a set of seven circular structures above the crowd. These circles rotated on their axes, constantly transforming the visuals and lighting effects.
Backbone was responsible for the technical design and technical production for these shows. A part of our team was on-site to ensure the shows ran smoothly.
