About Wereldhavendagen Rotterdam 2026

On the weekend of 4 to 6 September, the 49th edition of Wereldhavendagen Rotterdam 2026 took place. Over three days, from Friday to Sunday, 380,000 visitors explored the Erasmus Bridge area, Kop van Zuid, Katendrecht and Parkkade. Around 80 maritime organizations and dozens of vessels showcased the diversity, innovation, and importance of the maritime world. It also highlighted the port of Rotterdam’s vital role.

Companies opened their doors and invited visitors behind the scenes. It also offered a closer look at life in and around one of the world’s busiest ports. With a strong focus on the future and sustainability, this year’s program had something for every audience, from young to old. On Friday morning, around 2,000 young people, students and jobseekers visited the Cruise Terminal to explore the many educational and career opportunities the port offers.

On Saturday evening, a spectacular night show took place. Tens of thousands of visitors enjoyed the illuminated ship parade, projections across Rotterdam’s iconic skyline and the Erasmus Bridge, as well as performances by dancers and freerunners on the enormous COSCO inland vessel. And, of course, the evening ended with fireworks.
