The Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund, together with the Ronald McDonald homes in the country, want to ensure that a sick child or a child with a health constraint is safe and secure through the presence of the parents. Therefore, they offer families with a sick or disabled child a warm hospitable stay in losing homes in hospitals, living rooms in hospitals, and holiday homes.
The Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund Gala will open your arms to the biggest benefit gala in the Netherlands and ensure you have an unforgettable evening. An audience member is guaranteed to enjoy festive performances by famous artists, an exquisite dinner with matching wines, meeting with fascinating guests, a fundraising auction, and participating in a lottery with unique lots and must have prices.
Since 2013, Backbone has been involved in this gala as a technical producer. The Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund Gala helps raise money for the charity. In addition, Backbone is involved as a consultant in order to optimise the gala each year for the present guests, together with various organisations involved. Backbone contributes to this charitable event at both content and creative level (stage design).
The location, the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam, is where Backbone must execute the decor and logistics, but the location proves to be a challenging venue. Despite limited infrastructure and building times, Backbone always knows that with the right suppliers involved, the team can create a very attractive and aesthetically pleasing atmospheric with various video screens, high end finishes, and other technical facilities. For the 350 guests at the Ronal McDonald Children’s Fund consisting of ministers, CEO’s, CFO’s, and commissioners of major multinationals – McDonald’s franchisee’s know Backbone can be the technical support partner looking beyond technology, and as a valued partner, trust one another to create a beautiful night.
