About SHVR Ground Festival

On the 6th and 7th of September, SHVR Ground Festival took place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition Centre (ICE) in Jakarta. For this 4th edition, music lovers were invited to join their ‘Galaxia Voyage’ and to step into a unique new universe. The festival showcased some of the best EDM artists from around the globe. Such as Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Nervo, and KSHMR. With a capacity of 15.000 visitors across three spectacular stages. It was the first time SHVR Ground Festivals hosted its event in an indoor venue for all stages.

Role of Backbone

Backbone International took care of this event’s production and overlay management. Our Indonesian team had to deal with quite some difficulties during this project. The final creative design, for example, was just two weeks before the load in approved. During the ten-day load in there, some technical adjustments to the production elements still had to be made. And the stage also had to be adjusted for the live band performances on day two. It was however one of the events in Indonesia with the most installed lighting at the venue, an accomplishment to be proud of.
