Is there really a club in Amsterdam called Club12? On the Westergas area in the Gashouder? No, unfortunately the club does not really exist but luckily for us, the club popped up for one day for a staff party with a nice client of ours. Advertising agency XXS asked if we could help think about possibilities for their party. Which location would it be? How will it be decorated and what we do in terms of entertainment? In the following weeks we filled in the blanks together. That resulted in the opening of Club12 on Friday, February 10 in the Gashouder. At the entrance, everyone was welcomed by free runners and breakdancers. Once inside there was time for a drink and a walking dinner.
After dinner we opened the club with the Ibiza parade. A colorful parade of brightly colored ladies showed the group to the entrance of the club. With bright light and the right music the curtain fell down and the club officially opened. After the welcome speech of the board, a beautiful company movie and a custom-written song by Lange Frans the party started with Kid Vicious behind the turntable. After a dance act of Juvat it was Shermanology’s turn to bring the evening to a smashing end. At about midnight, after enjoying a cone of fries, it was time for the club to close and bring the Gashouder back to its original condition. Sadly, Club12 is no more, but we have a wonderful memory of a wonderful evening!
For this amazing staff event, we were responsible for the entire production, styling and organization.
